Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
With every Great Project
There is a Great Plan and with that there is a Process! A beginning a middle and an end. The construction zone is not always the most attractive time frame. Depending on the project, whether it’s a garden, building a house or baking a cake, this is where all the shaping, carving, planting sowing, digging, tying, hammering, weaving, stacking, mixing, mending, and plucking, goes on.
Within these jobs there are all sorts of materials that are used and no matter how big or small the item, it serves a purpose in its time. There will be a point when particular materials will no longer be needed, while other materials are set aside to be used for the future.
It’s like this for our lives too.
We have a God that is The same Yesterday, Today and Forever. He Has, Does and Will always Love us. This means He designed Our Past, our Present and Future, very carefully. Every tool, and all materials were picked with care and intricate planning.
For I Know The Plans, God is the engineer, He holds the master Prints. For I Know the Plans.
We can look at our life as the a construction zone, every person we encounter, every experience acts as the materials, each one specifically woven for a purpose. God is Alive and Active, so it’s not like He turns on a machine and sits back. No, He is a Hands on Creator. He was here before the creation of the world, He walks with every step of today and has secured our tomorrow.
Within this process of life, we will have countless encounters of people in our lives. Short term and long term relationships. Some in passing and some in it for the long hall. They are just as much a part of our process as we are to theirs. Whether we are woven in or out, Not one encounter is can be chocked up as a loss.
Plans to Prosper not to Harm, now we know that the verse talks about His plan, well there are definitely times in life where we try to go on our own plan. We think we have it all, we try to jump ahead of the master craftsman. We forgo his instruction, grab the tools and say “I can do it!” We will most definitely make a mistake along the way. This is how awesome our God is, even though we live in a fallen world, God is still working His Perfection through it all. So when something jumps in to throw the project off kilter, He steps in and turns it for a lesson. He uses it to weave into His Design.
Nothing is hopeless in His Hands. You may have gone through something life altering, maybe you are suffering through a loss or the aftermath of dissolved relationship, you may think that nothing good could ever come of this.
For God, Nothing is Impossible, remember, His Hands are on the situation, he molds this experience to prosper, He takes that moment in time and uses it to serve a purpose. A purpose for His Glory! Even if it wasn’t the happiest encounter or let’s say it was and things went sour, there is a reason for this season. Nothing is wasted!
It might look dark to You…but let’s not Forget, God is Light and IN Him there is No darkness ….At All. He sees Tomorrow!
ABIDE In Him and He will Abide IN you.
So out of the ashes come healing. Not just for us but for others too.
Hope AND a Future. His promises give us Hope and His Victory Is our Future.
That’s just what he will do with your unhappy experience. He Works All things for Good. He will turn it into a gain, creating strength and perspective. He teaches and intructs, he prepares and equips us with tools for future works. There is no such thing as coincidence, there are no mistakes and no blemishes in His Process for You. There are no scraps and no leftovers.
In The Hands of Our Redeemer, Nothing is Wasted.
The Next Time You Find Yourself In a Process, have Hope, Be Encouraged! God is At Work!
Trust In His Hands, Have Faith In What He Can Do!
Proverbs 3:5-6
5Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Philippians 2:13
for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
Genesis 50:20
“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.
Psalm 139:5
You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.
Prayer
Dear Lord, I am crying out to you, help me to see this as a moment within a Process. God you are Good and even though I am hurting, I know your Love, I know your Protection and I know your Perfection.
Thank you Lord for Always being with me. Guide my thoughts and point them to your truth. Feed my heart with the comfort It needs during this time, give light to this situation and help me to look forward to the revealing of your Glory.
In JESUS Name – Amen!
