satan has been on the prowl lately and he seems to have a particular agenda. That agenda is division.
We are seeing it in our country, we are seeing in our marriages and sadly we are seeing it in our churches.

Church if we are not united and standing strong We fall apart. Remember,
On Christ the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

Mark 3
24“If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25“If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.

We need our churches to stay united in Christ and remember that He is the glue that binds us together as One.
Brothers and Sisters there are people lost, broken and confused. There are people hurting and looking for a way out.
They will be seeking assistance.
Problem is, there are many forms of “help”
If we are not there to Show The Way, they will find another way .

2 Timothy 4:3
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,

It’s super tempting to seek out answers that will sooth our fleshy desires especially when we are in pain. Answers that will give us the quick and easy relief. It’s a deception and we know that most of these answers are actually damaging and far from easy. They guide us away from seeking God’s face and deter us from His promises.

Lets live as examples, and I do not mean put on a SHOW that we do not have struggles of our own. I mean the opposite, let’s share our struggles, let’s encourage and support. let’s express victory and perseverance through our trials. Let’s be the Compassion and Love of the God that we represent! Instead of talking about one another let’s pray for one another. Let’s take it a step further, we need to Pray WITH one another.

Ephesians 4:1-32
4 Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called,2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, 3 being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling;5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

Ephesians 5
1Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; 2and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

Just to add a little note towards the marriages that are under attack right now. We have people giving up on that unity, in and out of the church body. We need to be reaching out, supporting and pointing our brothers and sisters to The Glue when it comes to this matter.
No marriage is perfect but God created a perfect plan for marriage. Why wouldn’t satan want to rip it apart?
Christ refers to His Church as His Bride. So that should tell us a lot on his thoughts towards the unity of a man and a woman. Husbands and Wives are to be One in the same way that He is One with us! Look what His Love did for us! So we should pay close attention when He commanded that we love one another as Christ loves the church.

Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,

22Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. 24But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything.

Now hold on ladies I know what your thinking! But look
28So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself;
Who wouldn’t want to submit to that? But let’s be real, that doesn’t always happen.
Believe me I know we have marriages where people are on separate levels when it comes to our spiritual walk! We may not all have a husbands or a wives that live their life for The Lord. That may be confusing when you are being told to submit to that. Here is where your submission comes in.

Submit to God and HE will make your path straight! It goes back to that personal relationship with our Maker. Do all things for His Glory. The Faith is In Him and what He can do with our situations.

Just remember this Isaiah 54:5
“For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the LORD of hosts; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.

His Plan is Perfect and Beautiful! Let’s start implementing it! Let’s start reaching out and let’s be examples of His Great Name!
If we can understand The Power that God wants us to have as a unit, the more we will understand the reason for satan wanting to tear us apart.
Don’t fall for it!

This world is wicked and becoming more and more corrupt. Our children are just seeing the beginning of how ugly it truly is. Keep their homes united and Strong!
For those of you who are in the Middle of The struggle, for those of you who are so tempted to find that quick relief, please be encouraged that You are not alone, find your rest in the Lord. Be Still In The Moment and Allow God to move In your life!

Rehab In Christ

   Recently my dad  had his knee replaced. If you have ever experienced a procedure like that or have known someone who has, it’s quit a recovery process. The wound is rather large. When I first saw his knee it was swollen and wrapped with bandages to cover his staples, yes staples. It’s quite a sight, I have to admit. So you may be surprised to know that they start rehab right away. While you are still hooked to tubes they first have you stand a little and shift your weight around, gradually working up to more movement. You are assisted with a walker and a physical therapist of course.

After my dad was able to go home, he was visited by nurses and and therapists. When he had his staples removed they noticed that there was still an area that had not sealed shut. It still looked pretty scary. They informed him that he was healing from the inside out. His nurse put a few butterfly bandages and assured him she would keep a good eye on it.

Thinking of this, immediately  my thoughts went to our walk with The Lord. In a way we can look at this Journey as Rehab. The moment we accept JESUS as our Lord and Savior the recovery process begins. True, the scriptures say we are now New In Christ the old is gone and the new has come, but that doesn’t mean we are ready to jump from the hospital bed and enter a marathon. It is absolutely a journey that requires time and assistance. We first have JESUS who we can consider the Doctor of all doctors who gives a prescription of the Word. Then we have an entire team in which the Holy Spirit works through. The Church, our Brothers and Sisters in Christ, they are all the assistance needed to help support a stable walk.

The surface does not always show the entire picture. Sometimes we may have areas on the outside that look perfectly fine and you would never know that the inside may actually have a long road to recovery. Other times it may be the case like my dad’s, looking a bit rough on the outside but there is Healing already going on within.
God truly knows the depths of our being and He is the only one who can determine the plan of procedure.

2 Corinthians 5:16 talks about no longer recognizing others according to the flesh.
This is basically taking on the eyes of Jesus.
This brings me to another conversation I had with my dad. He now receives his therapy at the hospital. Just the other day he mentioned another man who is also receiving therapy for his knee. My dad was feeling a little discouraged because this other man was already walking all around the room with ease. My dad is still very sore and although he has shown a lot of progress, his walk is nowhere near as steady as this other man’s walk. I said to my dad, “did you consider that he may not have had the same procedure?” “Or maybe there are other factors such as age or weight?” “Or maybe we are just all different and some heal quicker than others?”

Our spiritual lives are very much the same.
We all heal in different ways. Just because we are Now New Creations in Christ, it does not mean our scars are not visible. It doesn’t mean that we all heal at the same pace. Our injuries are not all the same!
Some of our past hurts are warn on our sleeve while others are hidden deep down, taking a little longer to come to the surface.
We can be so thankful that we have a Personal God who knows and understands our differences.

I Am a New Creation In Christ and I Am Still very much receiving daily therapy. If I neglect to receive it, I see that my spiritual body gets stiff. I’m in need of that constant movement, that constant oiling of the Holy Spirit. It penetrates deep down inside my joints and allows me to press on and walk this life with Christ.

We are not to look at others according to the flesh, because we do not know what God is personally doing in their lives. We are not to compare ourselves or judge others. It’s important to consider the stages of the healing process, God may be working with someone at a pace that He knows is best for them. Maybe you know someone who is just in that first stage of movement, you might be tempted to to think they should be further along. remember rehabilitation starts even when wounds are still fresh, this person is being pushed to move and shift, consider that this change can be painful. Even after a period of time we have areas that need stretched and exercised, this can be quite a work out. Let this be a time to exercise ourselves in compassion rather than  frustration. Maybe the scars still look a little rough but we can Trust That God has a plan of rehabilitation and he’s working from the inside out.

Maybe you are that man walking swiftly around the room or maybe you are the guy still using a walker, maybe you have just gotten out of the hospital bed, or maybe you are still considering the surgery altogether. I want you to know that wherever you are, Christ Is With You! I want you to know that you have purpose and God sees you as a finished work from beginning to the end.
Know this, that he wants us to look at each other in the same way that he looks at us.
Let’s remember that we all have to start somewhere, and that we are all in different stages within our healing process. Let’s trust our loved ones in The Doctors care and act alongside not as a hindrance but as the assistant that God would want us to be within this process.
Be Encouraged and Give Encouragement!
Have Patience with yourself and With others in their recovery time.

God Does Not Over Look

I was looking for my veggie peeler the other day and In my mind I had a picture of what it looked like. I spent some time in one drawer shuffling around until I finally gave up and went onto another. I did the same thing in that drawer, rummaging around, picking up the divider, looking to see if it could have slid under. It was nowhere to be found. I knew this peeler had to be somewhere in the kitchen. I remembered using it not too long ago so I was determined to find it. I went back to the drawer that I had previously scoured, I thought, maybe I overlooked it. I searched and I looked and I looked and I had this picture of a white peeler in my head and then it dawned on me. Maybe it’s not white. My eyes started to scan for a peeler, any peeler and Bam, there it was! A black peeler that could have bitten me if it had been a snake. Maybe I had owned a white one in the past? Who knows.

Why am I telling you about my kitchen utensil dilemma?
Well, immediately a thought came to my mind, we insist on our own image and it causes us to overlook or underestimate the position that God has placed us in.

Great determination, focused in the wrong direction leads to frustration.
So often we have a preconceived plan in our head. We have an image for what our life should be. Many times that image is derived from our past experiences. We insist on it and when it doesn’t turn out, we get frustrated and anxious. We argue with God, we tell Him we are in the wrong place. We stomp our feet and we demand to be positioned where we think we need to be. After all we prayed about it! Right?

Our tunnel vision blinds us from important factors. We have to remember that we only see a very small portion of the picture to begin with. Why not rely on God’s protection and provision through this time? Trust that God’s love does not over look your desires, he knows your heart, he receives your thoughts and he gathers your prayers. But all in all it’s not really about us, is it? We forget that. Now he’s not a puppet master, but His ways are far above and beyond what we can accept at times. It’s a normal human mindset, but it causes us to be unappreciative of the work going on behind the seen. Instead of insisting that God jump into our vision, let’s open our hearts and come alive in His. Let’s gain a Spiritual mindset, by Trusting in the Lord with All our heart and leaning not on our own understanding. That verse can’t be used enough.
Habakkuk 2:3
“For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.

I can’t imagine how many times I might have passed up a good opportunity because I insisted that the peeler was white. How many times did my eyes glaze over God’s blessings? Or worse, how many times did he want to use me to bless someone else, but instead I was too busy complaining that I was in the wrong place.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
You are not your own. Repeat that to yourself.

John 15:5
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
We know that a good pruning is needed for a healthy production of fruit.

1 Corinthians 15:33
Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”

It wouldn’t hurt too clean out that drawer. Get rid of the things that are limiting the situation, ask God to weed out the areas in your life that are blocking your view, not just people but anything that may cause you to pull down the shades.

In All ways Acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.
Acknowledge His Plan, Acknowledge His Truth, Acknowledge His Promises and His Love. Acknowledge His Patience and Let Him Guides you beyond this nearsightedness.
If there is something you want, don’t force it, line it up with His word. Then, leave it to him to filter and sift. Don’t battle the No!
Why am I here, what good is this? Why aren’t things moving as fast as I hoped, what am I doing wrong? Doesn’t God love me? Yes, He loves you! Simply Trust in His Will. Rest in that thought right there.

Your plans may sound pretty good, but God knows the talents he wants to use in you, He knows the areas that need strengthened, and he knows what it takes to bring this to completion, be patient. Try looking at it this way, I may not be comfortable, but I can’t wait to see what my God will do with this moment!
Who will he introduce me to along the way?

James 1:4
Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

John 13:7
Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

If you have received a No, be certain that God has purpose for that no.
It is possible he planned that no, way in advance.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.


Prayer
Dear Lord, this is the day that you have made, thank you! Thank you for your patience with me, when I struggle against your will. Help me walk with Spiritual eyes of faith. I may be going through something that I do not understand, but God I know you have it all figured out. You make beauty out of ashes, and I am excited to see what you will do with mine. Help me to look beyond my vision Lord and clear out whatever may be blocking me from accepting yours. No matter what disappointments come along, help me to continue to see each day as an open opportunity to introduce you to this world. Help me to reflect your love and kindness. Help me use this time to be selfless and help me to focus on what is most important in your eyes.
In JESUS Name I pray

Joy Comes In The Morning!

JOY comes In The Morning!!!
Let’s be honest the moment we open our eyes, it’s not always a burst of Joy, we may not hear birds singing a Disney song, or have rays of sunlight lifting us out of bed. We may have actually had a horrible experience from the day before or through the night. We may wake and the first thought is disappointment, when we discover that it wasn’t a nightmare after all, but a reality that we will soon face again.
Images and words recorded come flooding, recapping all of the hurt. The should have, could have, the why and the IFs come spinning like a little tornado over your head.
If you are facing this day with out first capturing your thoughts and directing them to God, then yes your tornado will follow you out of bed. The dark clouds from yesterday will loom and seek to destroy your fresh start, causing an out of control forecast of the day. Truth, we have moments that literally cause aftershock, little rumbles that try to take our God given joy away. Even if we were certain, we already handed this situation over to God the night before, the enemy likes to creep in first thing. He catches us off guard, trying to instill doubt, reminding of us of our struggles. In this moment we have the opportunity to hold onto God’s truth! Not Today satan, Not Today!

We have Joy in the morning not only because it is New, but because we Have a God that has the power to make all things New! He is Faithful and In Him we can have confidence of deliverance.

2 Thessalonians 3:2-3
2 And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

Don’t let Yesterday discourage your Today! It’s Gone, done and over with!
Don’t give up, you have only experienced a speck of this journey, and there is so much that is waiting to be revealed.
It’s a NEW Day! A Fresh Start! It is filled with New Hope, and New Opportunities!
This day comes with The Fathers love and strength, this day comes with the truth that you are not Alone in this.

Many times we wake and it’s our own guilt and regret that starts a storm brewing.
In JESUS Name You are Forgiven today, regardless of your yesterday. If He has forgiven you, then you have permission to forgive yourself.

Psalm 103:2-4
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,

His Love has you covered! Now let him Position you towards your best.
I know that it is hard to comprehend or understand a love like this, but it’s real and True and it’s here for you!
You do not have to make sense of it, just know that there is a Life and a Plan for You In This New! Embrace it, Appreciate it, and Multiply All that is Given!

Jeremiah 31:25 
 I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.”

Proverbs 11:25 
A generous person will prosper;
    whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

Let Go, Learn from it and move on, step into His Grace. Dance in that Beautiful Light! Smile, Laugh and Be Thankful!!!
I pray that you will walk with your eyes fixed on The Perfecter of Faith, that you will know and hold onto The Love that He has for you. There is Nothing that He is unaware of, place all thoughts and concerns into His capable hands.
The scriptures say to take all your thoughts captive and hold them accountable to The Knowledge of God! So the moment you wake up, clear the air, with Prayer! Capture the recap of yesterday, before it spirals out of control! When the storm comes brewing over your head send it through The God filter. Anything that can not hold to God’s truth, anything that replaces doubt in the space of his promises, it needs to go!

Start your day by reflecting on God’s Truth and Arm yourself with Prayer. Choose Joy!

 

Psalm 51:10-12

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

God Bless You today as you soak in His Love! Be reminded of His Strength, wrap up in his peace and comfort. May you be filled with The Spirit as you Look forward to the Joy of second chances and New Beginnings!

The Table Has Been Set, Will You Sit?

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.

Let’s ask Him to fill us so much that it pushes out any lingering doubt, …
It’s one thing to have self doubt but its entirely another thing to have God Doubt! Our capabilities do not have to be tested or proven, but our Faith in God’s ability will stand against the greatest of Giants.

We want our cups to be gushing over with nothing but Him! His Truth and His Promises! When we stand before our enemy, we need only to think of the table that has been prepared, the oil that has anointed and the cup that overflows!

When I consider the verse above, My mind immediately goes into movie mode.

IMG_5179Imagine you are in the middle of a battle, a major conflict .. picture Braveheart type Warriors running at you with clubs and axes in hand! Despite everything going on, out of nowhere a table is set before you. Its beautiful, fine china, a gorgeous place settings, adorned with peace and serenity. The finest table you could ever imagine just plopped smack in front of you on a grassy battlefield. Candles lit, flowers arranged, this is a strange place for such a seen. Silence surrounds and your enemies move in slow motion. You are standing in a dome of calm. A gentle breeze leads you over to a chair, It’s pulled out and positions just for you. The voice of The Lord, “Time out, this is your place of rest.”
“But Lord!” “look around me!” “I have so much against me!” “I have to figure out my next move!” “I can’t” “I will be plowed over for sure!”
Again
“Sit my Child and Trust.”

“But” “But” “Did you see the size of”

Again
“Be Still and Believe.”

This struggle of putting our own capabilities before God’s has been repeated and repeated from the ancient of days! It Boils down to a lack of belief! Faith that is directed To Fear!

Exodus 14:13
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, STAND STILL!
You will see the salvation of the Lord!

Be Still And Know That I AM God!

Check this,
In Numbers 13 It talks about how God told Moses to send out men to spy out the land of Canaan, which God chose to give to Israel.
So mosses sent out men from each tribe.
The men went and saw that the land was great, the fruit was plentiful and the land was flowing with milk and honey.
But they also saw that the land was already inhabited. they reported that the people who dwelled in the land were strong, and their cities fortified and very large. Plus they had giants in the land.
The Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim).
The men said that in their own sight they looked like grasshoppers compared to them these giants.
They went back and reported to Moses and Arron and all the congregation of the people of Israel and explained the details of the land and its obstacles.
One of the men, Caleb was ready to go take the land, he believed they could do it. But the men from the tribes said no way! There was no way they could defeat them.

In the KJV it says
we seemed in our OWN SIGHT as grasshoppers.

We place our own sight on our troubles.
Don’t we?
We put our own opinion on the situation. We place our abilities over God’s abilities.

It didn’t go well for these guys, they were so unbelieving, they panicked, and to make a long story short they ended up rebelling against God. They decided to go on with their own plans and eventually met their defeat by facing their enemies without God.
Caleb was commended for believing and God said he would be able to enter the land.

In a sense God set a table in front of the tribes, He positioned them to Go into the land and the table was set with His Promises. Their job was to stand up to unbelief. God was with them and Who can stand against God? He was their backing. They needed only to be still and dine, instead they basically flipped the darn table over!

Our enemy is satan, he is the face of all the troubles that we encounter, the giants of life. Whether it be addictions or financial struggle, sickness, relationship, temptation, fleshy desires, he’s lurking around them waiting. He’s waiting to see if we will accept what God offers, or if we will fall into fear and flip the table. So many times satan uses our own sight to his advantage.

The Table has been set!
Even in the midst of trial, within or everyday troubles and problems of this world, we have The assurance of The Lord’s Provision. His Peace, His Deliverance, His Security, His Promises! This is what the table is adorned with.
Its adorned with The Vision of God!

This Is The Work of God… to Believe!

You are sealed and anointed as His. Never Hunger, Never Thirst.

In 1 Samuel David was anointed and sealed, but in man’s sight he wouldn’t have been first pick, but in God’s sight he was the one. Because God does not look at hight or stature, he looks at the heart.
David is proof of what happens when you take advantage of the Power of God before your enemies.

Pretty sure Everyone has heard of David and Goliath! Right?
David knew God was with Him, He saw through the eyes of Faith and it made that Giant look like a grasshopper. He was able to defeat him In God’s Strength.

Now JESUS is The ultimate proof of what happens when you sit at the table. When you trust in The Work of the Father. When you Dine on his Truth.

He actually sat and dined with his disciples before facing The greatest Battle! In a way he explained the preparation of “the table” His covenant. Giving them the bread to eat as His body and the cup of wine to represent his blood. He explained to them that He was the bread of life. The Living Manna.
He told them that he was sealed and anointed by his father. “He who believes in me will never thirst.”
His Cup was More than full!

Read Psalm 23:5 Again!
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.

Work for the food of eternal life! That’s JESUS! Your work is Belief!
No matter what we face, we are already Triumphant because we have Christ as our Eternal Glory!

27 Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal.”
28 Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you BELIEVE in Him whom He has sent.” 30 So they said to Him, “What then do You do for a sign, so that we may see, and believe You? What work do You perform? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’”32 Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven. 33 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.” 34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”
35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst”

May we always Believe and May We Always have an Over Flowing Cup!

JESUS Was triumphant over the The Giant named Sin. He slayed and defeated the Giant named Death!

When a table is set before our enemies and we choose to dine with God, we are showing the enemy who we belong to. We are showing our faith and our trust in God.

We do the work of the Lord by putting Our Belief into action.
Never mind, when we are faced with a situation and our Cup is full of Christ, this means we will not stoop, but instead we handle our afflictions with Grace and Love.
It’s a WIN WIN!

You are Well equipped!

Romans 8:31
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

If you are facing a battle today I want you to picture the table that has been set before you.
Take a deep breath and KNOW who your God is! Instead of worrying about your next move, sit and rest. Take in His Peace and assurance. He has this! Hear his voice, Child you are loved and well cared for. Trust.

Show Me Your Glory

Look closely and you can see little spider webs in this photo. God shines his glory even on the the things that we do not always appreciate, for instance that many spiders in one place! I’m not a person that usually appreciates the creepy crawlers of the earth, but I am thankful for God showing me this gift. It is not just a field with spiders waiting to grub on little bugs. No, this message is so much greater than that, in fact there is one similar to it in Matthew 6:25-34
25“For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26“Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27“And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? 28“And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, 29yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30“But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! 31“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32“For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

When we walk with the Lord Our eyes see with a new light. What can a field of spiderwebs tell us about our God?
Just looking upon all of the intricacy that is woven into His Beautiful Plan. Everything serves a purpose, it’s also a reminder of His Provisions. We can be grateful that we have a God who Provides for our needs in such detail. Yes even spiders, let them praise the Lord!
Psalm 148
Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
Praise Him in the heights!
2 Praise Him, all His angels;
Praise Him, all His hosts!
3 Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all stars of light!
4 Praise Him,highest heavens,

For He commanded and they were created.

He has made a decree which will not pass away.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth,

Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;

Creeping things and winged fowl;

It’s not always easy to appreciate the ugly moments in our life, but through faith we can rejoice and have hope within these times.
1 Peter 1:6-9
6 In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, 7 so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 8 and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.

Christ is The Glory and He is enough! Put your Trust In Him!

IMG_5093.JPGMaybe you are feeling anxious today, feeling lost or just stuck in funk. If you are dealing with something big and having a hard time looking past your situation, start small. Appreciate the little things. Look at all of the blessings around you, as you start to scan this life in a new light, Praise the Lord!
He is So good! If he can equip a spider to spin a web, not just something to catch food in, but an actual masterpiece, then he can take care of you. If he can provide the grass for it to attach to and and then send food and water in its direction, He can do so much more for you. Seek fist The Kingdom! Look for his hand in everything around you. He will illuminate and reveal it, just as he did with this field of webs.

Prayer
I pray that God will cast His Love over your entire situation today. May your eyes catch the beauty that is all around you. As you scan, I pray that you will gain hope and strength. May you look forward to the precious details that he holds for your life.

Where Does Your Help Come From?

IMG_5085When our children cry out for us in the middle of the night, do we not come running to their rescue? If they are sick, do we not make them chicken noodle soup, give them snuggles and hold them? If they are sad do we not take that pain on, and comfort them? We Do! They are our precious children. We love them and when they hurt we hurt . We wouldn’t want them to go to a substitute. We wouldn’t want them to knock on a strangers door to find comfort, especially if we are right there ready and Willing to help. We wouldn’t want to sit back and watch them struggling while they try to put on their own bandaid….RIGHT?
Then why do we, as Adults try to put on our own bandages, Instead of crying out and asking our Heavenly Father for Help? He LOVES us, he doesn’t patch, he heals! He can take care of any need, hurt, fear, disappointment, sorrow, distress, or sadness. He does not enjoy sitting back and watching us struggle. He wants to swoop in, hold us, and feed us. He wants to pick us up, brush us off and give us guidance and the tools we need to succeed. All we have to do is Let Him! Say it, I need you Lord!
Oh, Give Thanks for his Grace. No matter what Crazy mess we find ourselves to be in. So many times we put ourselves smack in the middle of the problem, and still He is ready to pull us out.

Psalm 107:20
20He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions.
From who’s destruction??
It was their own!

In Psalm 107:2-43 there are so many accounts were he delivered His people from one pretty big messes after another . We see a pattern of failure and then a cry. He swooped in and saved them. It reminds us over and over to Give thanks to The Lord! For He is always there, Ready and Willing for the Rescue. Although we fail, He is UNFAILING, where we lack faith, He is FAITHFUL . He could have said no, you keep messing up, I’m just done! How often do we mess up, how often do we continue in our unhealthy patterns? Same problem, same outcome!
Here is a little dividing factor, we have to be willing to say, HELP, I messed up, I’m lost, I’m tired, I hunger, I thirst! Cry Out!
Immanuel! JESUS Savior, Might One!
We have to know Where our Help Comes from!
Psalm 121:2
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.

Do not be fooled, satan is always there to give his idea of what help looks like.
he preys on the weak, and he is happy to throw an answer in our direction. We have way too many substitutes floating around, ready to fill that hurt. The temporary relief comes at a price. What’s your poison?
Alcohol, pills, overeating, shopping, gambling, isolation, busyness? Do you project your hurt onto the people you love? Get it out what a release!. temporarily relieved and a path left burning behind. When we rely on the temporary, pain and destruction become the hangover that lasts a little too long. All of these things are temporary and leave us with shame, regret, bitterness, depression, and self loathing.
They dissolve and after they have warn off, we are still left with the original pain and then some. Left with an empty whole that only ONE can Fill, One can complete, The One and only, can Satisfy!
Who will be wise to open his mouth and seek the Lord?
It’s not always a Quick Fix! But God is Eternal! Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever! He IS Enough!
When we Cry out to Him we receive more than a rescue, we receive freedom from the cycle! Leave it! There is A New Life In JESUS CHRIST! The old is gone, it has proven its purpose! Now Let It Go and let Him Show you Yours Purpose!

Psalm 107:42-43
42The upright see it and are glad;
            But all unrighteousness shuts its mouth.
43Who is wise? Let him give heed to these things,
            And consider the loving kindnesses of the LORD.

Psalm 91:4
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

Where does your help come from?
Are you tired, do you desire to be filled? Are you sick of the hangover that won’t end?
Cry out To JESUS and Let Him Step in!

Reach For the Light of The Son

Have you ever seen a tree take root in an undesirable setting? There may be a danger of it becoming crowded and choked out by surrounding growth, the soil is not rich, chances of it flourishing look slim to none. Still it Thrives. It may lead you to question, how can it be?

When we look at trees like this we Notice that the branches and the roots spread out for the proper nutrition. They Bend and Contort to Receive the Light of the sun. The tree may change it’s shape over the years, the roots may be visible from trying to obtain the rich soil, the trunk develops a hunch or a curve.
Although it started out rough, it can still be of good use, within and out of this process. For this tree, it may not look like the others, but it stands proud for a purpose. It offers shade and provides a safe shelter. The curve of the trunk and limbs create a resting spot for the weary.

God created this tree, he guides it’s growth with every twist and turn, just as He does with us.

What can we do when we find ourself in an undesirable setting?
Let’s take a note from the tree. Lets stretch towards the light. Now this light exposes and reveals, so we may have seasons of ugly, a bend might need to take place.
These are all things that happen with progress. The more we allow ourselves to reach for The True Source, the Better. When we Reach to be IN The Light of The SON, we Thrive. By reading His Word, we allow Him to Give our Life The Nourishment that we need. By Rooting ourselves In His Love and following The Path of His Truth , our story of transformation begins. Along the way Our Bumps and Curves become a testament To His Works! Some may question…how can this be, pointing Out His Glory For all to see!
The weary find rest within this growth ! It provides a connection and a hope!

Sometimes uprooting entirely is not the answer, sometimes it’s about learning to thrive within an undesirable setting. When we trust and reach For The Lord we Stand Strong for a Purpose, His Purpose!
Are you standing in a moment of disappointment? Have you found yourself in an undesirable situation?
We have the choice to conform or Transform!

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardlywe are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Philippians 3:14
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

John 8:12
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Be Blessed and Reach for The Light of The SON today! Be Encouraged, Be Strengthened by His Grace and Love!
Lend yourself to be of use, from this alone will come healing.
God is Good Press On!!!

16I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,

Do You Believe?

Truly Believe

Mark 9
20 They brought the boy to Him. When he saw Him, immediately the spirit threw him into a convulsion, and falling to the ground, he began rolling around and foaming at the mouth. 21 And He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. 22 It has often thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, take pity on us and help us!”23 And Jesus said to him, “‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.”24 Immediately the boy’s father cried out and said, “I do believe; help my unbelief.”

“If You Can?” ???
I have seen the Lord work in spectacular ways! He most certainly CAN!
We have read of His Awesome Miracles, some of us have seen them with our own eyes. As history repeats, we are still stamping question marks on what God can do.
Believing takes action! It’s an attitude alteration!
I Do Believe! Lord, Help me with my unbelief!

Faith In His intervention.
This reminds me of the  television show Intervention. The need is there, the support is there, but one little thing needs to take place before it can all go forward. “Will you accept this help that is being offered today?” …YES!

Jesus often gave that same approach.
Matthew 9:28
When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

And again in John 5
6When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, “Do you wish to get well?”

7The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” 8Jesus said to him, “Get up, pick up your pallet and walk.” 9Immediately the man became well, and picked up his pallet and began to walk.

JESUS proposed a question and the man gave an answer much like we do, he began to explain the problem. We sometimes even go as far as the blame game, pointing to others. Or we look to the past for our answers. We continue to point to the problem instead of the Problem Salver.

Jesus already knew his dilemma, he wanted to know if he wished to be well or if He believed JESUS could make him well. It was a, lets do something about it moment! The next step was for JESUS to get this guy to move into ACTION! Get up and Walk! Move Forward!!!!

The need is there, the support is there, will we say yes! Will we pick up that pallet and walk?
Not only Walk.. but will be stay on the path and Keep walking? This takes action, a choice, this takes obedience, and commitment. The action is not saying yes to our own strength, it’s A YES to The LORD! I Believe you can make me well!! I Believe In Your Work! I Believe you can help me overthrow temptation and depression, I Believe you will work Forgiveness In my heart! I Believe you are able to restore broken Relationships! I Believe You work all things For The Good! I Believe You have set me Free! I Believe In Your Love!! I Believe you are For me and not against me! I Believe you will not forsake me!
Philippians 4:13
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Matthew 15:28
28 Then Jesus said to her, “O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you wish.” And her daughter was healed at once.

Mark 11:24
24 Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be grantedyou.

In Matthew 13:
Jesus had returned to his home town. He was preaching and teaching, and they received him with offense. They just couldn’t believe. They said, where did he get all of this? They had so much doubt, how could the son of Mary and and carpenter? How could that kid be the Man we see today? Were they jealous? Could they not get past His upbringing.. did they think nothing good could have come from his family or their town? Why did they have such hard hearts?
This happens today too, and I believe this is why it’s mentioned, it is very relevant. CHRIST said, they will hate you because they hate me.
Sometimes people we are closest to, just can’t get over our old condition. When they see us they see our past. They just can’t BELIEVE in God’s work. Listen, we have an empathetic God! His home town was filled with hard hearts. Have Faith, Let God be your defense.

The reason I bring this up, is to point out what He did Not do in His home town.
Because of their unbelief….

Matthew 13:58
58And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.

Hebrews 3:12
Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.
John 20:31
31 but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

John 11:26
and everyone who lives and BELIEVES in Me will never die.

Do you believe this?”

Romans 15:13
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer
Dear Lord,
thank you for all the Glorious work that you have done within my life! I pray that when I am in the middle of a weak moment of faith, that you will help me with my unbelief.
Lord You know me fully and I Trust your Hand in my life! I thank you for your word, I am thankful to be reminded of your life here as a man on earth. There is nothing I go through, that you can’t relate. I Believe In your mercy, I Believe in your Love, I Believe In Your Healing! I Believe In Your Name! Thank You Lord JESUS!

Let’s say this Loud and Proud!!!

I am no longer going to buck or stand in the way of What God Can Do with my Life!
No more holding back!!

It’s yours Lord.. All Yours!!

No more identifying with the old!

Say This, Shout This, Believe This,
LIVE THIS!!!

I AM A NEW CREATION IN
CHRIST JESUS!!
The old has passed away and the New
Is Alive, Upheld, and Driven by The Holy Spirit!

This world will do everything to make you forget Who you are In Christ. Have no fear, God knows His children, if we are sober and Alert to His voice, we will hear Him calling.
When the world begins to taunt, listen for God’s Voice and remember the Escape Plan!!!! He provides!

This would not be written if it were not true!
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

You are not a child of this world, you are a Child of The Living God! You are a Child of The King of kings and The Lord of lords!!!
He Who Holds You with His Right Hand,
He Who Knew You before you were created. The One that is always One Step Ahead, He is For You!
He is Righteous, He is Faithful and
HE LOVES YOU!!!!!

The Greatest Sacrifice Known to mankind was for LIFE!
It’s time to make a choice and commit to it! Do you really want to stay half in, half out? I’m not saying we walk around as perfect beings flaunting a righteousness and pointing out the flaws of others.  If you think for a second that Holy, Righteous, and redeemed has anything to do with that life style then well, I think it’s a mistaken identity. I’m not saying that we plop down in our sin and settle in just because we have been forgiven,  Im not saying that we will never make a wrong choice again or have moments of weakness, but we have a Holy Spirit ready and willing to guide and step in, if we are willing.
We have a Savior who loved us at our UgLiEsT, so much that He died for us, but it did not stop there! He rose from the dead, and In Our Unity, so should we! He did not die so we could have a corrupted Life, He Died so we could Have a Life Connected to God! A life that stretches beyond the grave and into eternity.
Dead to sin ..Alive In Christ!
So Live! Be an Example! Forgive as you have been forgiven. Love as you are Loved.
I’m saying, show The Living God Working In Your Life today!
When we let God shine within our everyday life, we become a beacon for the lost. If you are walking this life as a Christian who is saved, congratulations on accepting an eternal glory, you have entered into an unimaginable covenant. Now don’t be thrown off when I say, this life is no longer for you, it’s for anyone and everyone who could possibly come to know The God you serve. You are now part of a living moving working body of Christ. You are a Family member of the most high! Give The family Name the Honor it deserves.

1 John 3:18
Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

It’s important that we realize that we have an obligation, we serve as an influence.
For example, Children look to their parents for direction in their life. They trust us to show them the way.
It’s the same with the non believer, he looks to the believer to see what this Jesus is all about.

If they see no difference between the way you live from the way the rest of the world lives, What really is the difference? What does that say about The God you claim to follow?
A Christian is a follower of Christ and His Glory is to shine through His people.
Romans 12:2 says not to conform to the patterns of the world, but instead be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.

Is there an area in your heart that you know you have not allowed The Lord to access? Is there an area in your life where you have rejected His Will?
Access Denied! Seats Taken!

Or maybe you were once walking close with the Lord and over time you’ve allowed the world to gain your attention for just a little too long? Maybe you have forgotten your true identity?
Remember you’ve never gone too far and nothing can separate you from His Love. There is no better day than today to start A New Life with Christ.

Are you ready to experience this?
Are you ready to experience life not on your terms but on God’s terms?
For I Know the Plans Declares the Lord! I’m telling you, they are far greater than the cycle you’ve been settling for.
Prayer
Lord, I know that you are standing at the door of my heart. I hear you calling my name and I am ready to open.
I am giving you full access. If there is anything that is not of you, Lord I pray that you guide me away from it. Help me to turn to you when I am tempted to reject or shy away from your truth. I thank you for your love and your grace and I’m ready to take the next step. I am ready to take hold of the life you have Gifted to me. I’m ready to live the life that you have planned for me and I am eager for others to know who you truly are.
Prepare me Lord, so that you may use me according to your will.
In JESUS Name I pray
