You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling

By: Jessica Huber

You’ve lost that loving feeling. It’s a song that when heard by many, the seen from the movie Top Gun flashes through our memory. A silly way for the guy to get the girls attention. He serenades her in front of an entire room full of people.

You’ve lost that loving feeling, now it’s gone, gone, gone…although funny in the movie, it’s something that we hope to never hear coming from the Lord.
God is serenading us all the time! Is He getting our Attention?

Revelation 2 talks about a message to a particular church, it recognizes that they have persevered through many toils and that they have been great at discerning good from evil. In fact, it noted that they hated evil and they would not tolerate it! They were commended for calling out anyone who was found to be a false Apostle.
But the thing that they had against them, was that they had lost their first love.
They lost that loving feeling.

There is a Call to Recall!
It’s a call that cries out, Come Alive! It’s not a call to to the oblivious, it’s a Call to those who claim to have been found. A Call to the Church, the “Brothers and Sisters.” A call to build with Love! To support and encourage, not tear down, criticize and condemn.
It’s a call to Rise to Life, Just as Christ did! A life driven by the same Spirit that freely Gave Grace, Compassion and Forgiveness! This is a call to peer through the Fathers eyes! Its a call not only to speak the word but to live it. This is a battle cry to the dry bones of the Church. Remember your first Love! Remember the day you got down on your knees and accepted His Name into your heart! JESUS!! Maybe you whispered it, with tears falling from you cheeks. Maybe it was a shout with your arms raised to Him! At some point in your life, there came a time to say Yes! Not to your parents, not your peers , but when You said Yes to Him!
Bring Back That Loving Feeling!
Recall and Rise up!

We Love Because He First Loved Us!

1 John 3:16
We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Abide
In Love/In Him/ Him In You

1 John 4:16
We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Reflect and Project The Love that was poured out for you on Calvary!
Bring Back That Loving Feeling!

Battle Cry

By: Jessica Huber

IMG_4928

Perfect Love casts out all fear, remember this when you find yourself faced with a battle. You have the Perfect Love Living and Dwelling within You.

John 13:7
Jesus answered and said to him, “What I do you do not realize now, but you will understand hereafter.”

Faith is Trusting God even when we do not understand.

I will use certain verses over and over because they are ALWAYS RELEVANT! They Always Pertain and They Never Get Old! I Believe in the Power that they hold, the word of God is one fierce weapon! Use it as your Battle Cry!

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the confidence of things not seen.

A lot of our decisions today are based on fear. We give fear the power and it can cause us to be physically paralyzed as well as spiritually paralyzed. When we look at the symptoms of fear, we see that this world is plagued with worry, doubt, anxiety and insecurities.

Psalm 139
    Try me and KNOW my anxious thoughts;
24And see if there be any hurtful way in me,
And LEAD me in the everlasting way.
Jesus IS the power to cast out the fear, He Is the Perfect Love.

The scriptures say
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean Not on your own understanding.
Our understanding can be swayed by what ever the enemy wants us to see, think and feel.
he uses this world to carry out his fear tactics. If we are caught off guard or distracted from the truth, we end up believing them.

If you are experiencing the symptoms of fear today, I’d like to remind you to suit up with The Armor of God! Ephesians 6:11-17

11 Put on the full armor of God,so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Know that this fear is NOT of God. Learn to expose it for what it is.
Do not let it sway you from the written Truth! Fight the deception by Replaying  and Repeating His Word!

1 John 4:4
You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11

You have been Given the Holy Spirit! Do not think you are a helpless puppy walking aimlessly! That is Far from the truth! You are a Conqueror through Christ! Victorious over the spiritual darkness. Do not let the enemy convince you other wise.

Zephaniah 3:17
“The LORD your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.

Romans 8:37-39
37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord

If the Voice of fear is ringing louder than The Voice of Truth, let it be a red flag that there is a need to get closer to God. Ask Him to Lead you, ask Him to Know your anxiously thoughts.
Start reading His Word, meditate on it, talk with Him, listen to what He is saying.

You are covered with His Finished Work!
Use this truth to Rebuke the enemy!
The word of God is sharper than a double edged sword!

When we are faced with fear, we have to Believe and Trust in The Words that were given to us. Believe The One Who Upholds this truth!
The mind is a battlefield, be transformed by the renewing of your mind! Refresh and filter out the lies!
When we repeat Gods Word, we wield the Sword! Diminish the one hiding behind the fear and Destroy any power he thinks he has over you.

Isaiah 48:17
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go.

If you are a child of God, fear has no hold over you. He is stronger and mightier than anything we face.
No matter how ugly, no matter how horrible, stand firm with the Truth.
Your God is in Control!
Where there is Faith there is an allowance for Hope. What was meant to cripple, will now be used for Growth. He works All things for the good of those who love Him!

When fear comes around stand firm, raise your sword and Look to the Author and Perfecter of FAITH, JESUS CHRIST!

Psalm 121:2
My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

You are a Warrior! God has given you the weapons that you need to fight off the schemes of the enemy! Use them!
Cry out With Prayer, Rebuke with His Word! Stand Strong In The Name of JESUS CHRIST! remember Who you belong to in this world!

I Pray that you  receive this message with a Thankful Heart! Glory To Our Lord JESUS CHRIST!

Nothing Is Wasted

Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

With every Great Project
There is a Great Plan and with that there is a Process! A beginning a middle and an end. The construction zone is not always the most attractive time frame. Depending on the project, whether it’s a garden, building a house or baking a cake, this is where all the shaping, carving, planting sowing, digging, tying, hammering, weaving, stacking, mixing, mending, and plucking, goes on.

Within these jobs there are all sorts of materials that are used and no matter how big or small the item, it serves a purpose in its time. There will be a point when particular materials will no longer be needed, while other materials are set aside to be used for the future.

It’s like this for our lives too.
We have a God that is The same Yesterday, Today and Forever. He Has, Does and Will always Love us. This means He designed Our Past, our Present and Future, very carefully. Every tool, and all materials were picked with care and intricate planning.

For I Know The Plans, God is the engineer, He holds the master Prints. For I Know the Plans.

We can look at our life as the a construction zone, every person we encounter, every experience acts as the materials, each one specifically woven for a purpose. God is Alive and Active, so it’s not like He turns on a machine and sits back. No, He is a Hands on Creator. He was here before the creation of the world, He walks with every step of today and has secured our tomorrow.

Within this process of life, we will have countless encounters of people in our lives. Short term and long term relationships. Some in passing and some in it for the long hall. They are just as much a part of our process as we are to theirs. Whether we are woven in or out, Not one encounter is can be chocked up as a loss.

Plans to Prosper not to Harm, now we know that the verse talks about His plan, well there are definitely times in life where we try to go on our own plan. We think we have it all, we try to jump ahead of the master craftsman. We forgo his instruction, grab the tools and say “I can do it!” We will most definitely make a mistake along the way. This is how awesome our God is, even though we live in a fallen world, God is still working His Perfection through it all. So when something jumps in to throw the project off kilter, He steps in and turns it for a lesson. He uses it to weave into His Design.

Nothing is hopeless in His Hands. You may have gone through something life altering, maybe you are suffering through a loss or the aftermath of dissolved relationship, you may think that nothing good could ever come of this.
For God, Nothing is Impossible, remember, His Hands are on the situation, he molds this experience to prosper, He takes that moment in time and uses it to serve a purpose. A purpose for His Glory! Even if it wasn’t the happiest encounter or let’s say it was and things went sour, there is a reason for this season. Nothing is wasted!
It might look dark to You…but let’s not Forget, God is Light and IN Him there is No darkness ….At All. He sees Tomorrow!
ABIDE In Him and He will Abide IN you.
So out of the ashes come healing. Not just for us but for others too.

Hope AND a Future. His promises give us Hope and His Victory Is our Future.
That’s just what he will do with your unhappy experience. He Works All things for Good. He will turn it into a gain, creating strength and perspective. He teaches and intructs, he prepares and equips us with tools for future works. There is no such thing as coincidence, there are no mistakes and no blemishes in His Process for You. There are no scraps and no leftovers.

In The Hands of Our Redeemer, Nothing is Wasted.

The Next Time You Find Yourself In a Process, have Hope, Be Encouraged! God is At Work!
Trust In His Hands, Have Faith In What He Can Do!

Proverbs 3:5-6
5Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Philippians 2:13
for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Genesis 50:20
“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.

Psalm 139:5
You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.

Prayer
Dear Lord, I am crying out to you, help me to see this as a moment within a Process. God you are Good and even though I am hurting, I know your Love, I know your Protection and I know your Perfection.
Thank you Lord for Always being with me. Guide my thoughts and point them to your truth. Feed my heart with the comfort It needs during this time, give light to this situation and help me to look forward to the revealing of your Glory.
In JESUS Name – Amen!

I want it Now Daddy!

By : Jessica Huber

IMG_4903

We have come accustomed to getting what we want when we want it. There is always a negotiation, always a loophole. Society has created a field of Violet Verucas! Remember in the movie Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, the character Violet wanted that gum so bad! She could careless that it wasn’t ready, she completely disregarded the fact that the maker deemed it unsafe to eat.

Verruca, she just demanded what ever it was no matter what, she really truly did not need it, but She Wanted It Now Daddy!

We can be pretty impatient when it comes God. I want It Now!
Instead of waiting to see if the creator has prepared and deemed the situation safe, we snatch it, chew it up and suffer the consequences. We do this when it comes to jobs, relationships, and many life decisions. Then we cry when it just isn’t going the way we envisioned. The same with Wanting for things we do not need. But This would be great! I just know it! No! God said He will supply us with our needs not everything we think we want! Sometimes we need to just Simmer down and Trust!

God IS a giving God, his word says ask and it will be given, Seek and you will find, pray as if you already received it. Here’s the thing, if we are seeking and asking with a violet heart, if we are praying on behalf of Veruca’s will instead of God’s Will, then no, it may not come to pass. Or maybe it will, but you may find along the way it just wasn’t what you expected. If our life is built upon anything besides God’s foundation, then it is sure to crumble when the storms come. Let God lay the groundwork, let him create a firm foundation before you continue.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I Know the Plans I have for you declares the Lord, Plans to prosper Not to harm, plans for a Hope and a Future.

Don’t snatch it up, don’t cut in line.
If God has you in a place of waiting, then you just chill for a bit. Whatever it is that you are hoping for just hang in there. Wait until he says go, wait until he says it’s safe. He could be putting the final touches on the situation, moving and shifting the appropriate people into position. You may even find that while you are waiting, the entire vision changes.

When we wait, when we allow ourselves to Be Still and Listen, we forgo the hideous Umpa-Lumpa song. It’s the prevention for the, “I Told You So” of Life!

The next time we really want something, let’s pray for His Will to be on it. Let’s pray that It is Following His way and not ours.
Proverbs 16:25 says a mans ways may seem right in his Own Eyes, BUT .. well you can read the rest.
Let’s pray For God’s Eyes. Thy Will Done Lord!

Matthew 6:25-27
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

So give your request to God and Let Him sort it out. Ask Him to search your heart and reveal any areas that may need a little adjustment. Receive His peace and be content within the meantime. Remember His Promises to prosper, and believe them. Accept the fact The Your idea of prosperity may not always line up with His. KNOW, that What He has in mind is far beyond what you could have imagined. Rest In His Goodness.

Philippians 4
4Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.7And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer:
Lord, sometimes times I jump ahead, I try to figure out a situation and act on it too quickly, I can be inpatient and I am sorry for that. Please help me to Trust, help me to rely on Your Plan and your Path. Lord I thank you for your love and protection, I am asking for you to intercede, when I am about to make a hasty decision.  Strengthen my heart and help me to place your will above my own. I pray Lord that I will receive your peace and calm and use it as an opportunity to Listen to your Devine Guidance.
In JESUS Name I Pray – Amen

The Pity Party

By: Jessica Huber

IMG_4882

The Pity Party! When our expectations do not match with our surroundings and we refuse to bring the moment to God!

The Christian life is not perfect, we have troubles just like anyone else on this planet. We also have temptations to resist within our troubled times, resentment, bitterness, jealousy, and envy come knocking on our door.
We have The “it’s not Fair” moment and the “Why me?” moment. It’s all wrapped up in an ugly invitation to the pity party.

Sure everything you are feeling could possibly stem from the truth, you may really have a valid point as to why you feel this way, but we have to bring this moment to God! This IS the key factor that will determine our Peace. We either bow down to our surroundings or we Bow to God!
It’s our decision which force we allow to consume!

Who do you think sends out the invitation to the Pity Party? Its satan, he wants us to look around at all the things going wrong, and let me tell you, sometimes he gets our attention by blasting us with one JERK of a BUNDLE! We focus on it, we dwell on it, and his plan gets to work, he sets the atmosphere to sooth the flesh! We walk in the door and the beat of the music is 🎶Me -Me -Me-Me-Me! 🎶All the things that justify this moment are served up on a platter. Before we know it, we are munching away, we allow them to magnify the emotions within our body! We get lost in the self pity and no longer hear the reminder of Who’s in control! While we are attending this party, we block out the voice of The Lord and forget His Power and His Promises.

We all have these moments!
When I catch myself in a moment like this it’s usually while I’m dancing away to the beat! I will not even try to deny stepping foot into a pity party. Oh ya I’v gone in, I’v gotten sucked in, I’v had a couple snacks, but at some point you have to welcome the Voice of The Lord.
You Let God burst in like the Father that He is! HEAR His Voice!! “CHILD …WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?”
“I know it’s not fair, I know this situation pains you.” “I know that in your eyes it could be so much better, but that is not where you are right now.” “You know Me and you know that I work All things for the good of those who love me.” “Trust!” “You are going to get through this because you know my truth.” ” I wouldn’t allow for you to be in this season if It didn’t fit into a bigger picture.” “There is not a spot that you stand on, in which the great I AM is unaware of!” “Remember you have Purpose, You are MINE and I will not leave you!” “Now put down that jealousy, put down that self pity, put down that bitterness and Hand it over!”
He may even say, “get away from those friends who encouraged you to come here!” “Maybe it would be a good idea to stay away from them.”

Allow Father God to select the friends you hang out with, friends that will remind you of His voice! Be the friend who will guide others to His truth. Link arms and walk away from the invitation!

Let’s picture God Literally snatching us out of the party and dragging us home!
Because if we think about it, within a moment of turmoil we truly behave like immature, self entitled, juveniles! We are Unwilling to listen to the voice of reason when the party is cranked up to its full volume. What Trust? It Goes out the window!

Guys God’s Voice has to override! It has to rise above the noise!
Christians do not have a free pass when it comes to the struggles of life. We have temptations, we have episodes of doubt, we do not always respond the way we should. We do not always have it all together like some may think! But we Do have a Savior, we have a Relationship with Our Maker! The One Who steps in when we are tempted to be consumed. He is our steady within the chaos!
If we refuse to listen to His council when things get crazy, we are sure to get swept up and carried away, even worse we tend to invite others to come along.
Listen to His Voice!

He not only knows us better than anyone, but he knows our situation better than anyone. We have a God who is empathetic to our earthly trials. Remember, He was here in the flesh!

Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

Let His Voice give you the discernment to keep you out of the pity party.

Psalm 43:5
Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

Let’s face it, we all get a little caught up in self pity from time to time. Learn to catch yourself before you end up getting cozy. Reach out to God for HIS Invitation. His Love and Truth is waiting to guide you back Home.
God Bless!

Be Courageous

IMG_4876

Be courageous, its a Commandment!

Joshua 1:9
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

When we think of being courageous we think of being strong and fearless!

John Wayne once said, “Courage is being scared to death..and saddling up anyway.”

So many times, our fears overshadow what we are being called to do! We can’t stand to be uncomfortable! Um, the enemy knows this. We also allow this! The reason we are called to be Courageous in this walk, is because God knows He has our back. But do WE know this?

Here is something we hear all the time.
” God won’t give you more that what you can handle” honestly this can lead to a false sense of self. It gives the idea that we rely on our own abilities.. or that God is relying on our ability.
Satan has all kinds of trickery floating around.
Truth is we get stuff thrown in our direction All the time, that we can’t handle. If our thoughts are not fixed on the foundation of Christ, then we quickly sink.

Let’s redirect this statement.

We will not go through anything in this life that GOD can’t handle!

Will there still be pain, loss, and death? Will we still have moments where we are Uncomfortable? Ye,  but when we Focus on God our thoughts are shifted from the temporary to The ETERNAL. Everything we face here is temporary. God Is our Eternal Glory!

2 Corinthians 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

In a round about way, JESUS said that we would encounter all kinds of junk here in this world. He also said he would supply us with His peace when we need it.

John 16:33
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

Perfect Love Casts Out All Fear

Courage is Believing! Courage takes Faith!
Better yet, replace the word courage with the word faith, from now on! The next time you are called to something that takes courage, remember to Fight with Faith! Remember His Perfect Love!

Isaiah 43:2
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

It takes courage to be a Follower of Jesus Christ. Speak Out and share His word. Stand Up at the right time. Be Firm in a world that is constantly going against Him, constantly adjusting, constantly changing.

We Serve a God that is the same Yesterday Today and Forever!
Courage shows up when we realize He is with us. God goes before us and Dwells within us.

Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world!

Isaiah 40:31
Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.

So when God says, did I not Command you to be courageous, He’s saying didn’t I say in Matthew 6:34 Not to worry! Look, I I AM hear! I’m telling you to Step Out because, I Guid your Steps. I’m commanding you to lean on Me! That is What a Call to be courageous is, It’s to know we stand on His strength, not our own.

In Joshua 1:7-8 he is told to remember the laws and not to turn from the right or the left of them, to be careful not to let the word depart from his mouth. He’s basically being told to FIX HIS EYES on the TRUTH!

Matthew 19:26
And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

May your strength rest on the Lord! Fight with Faith and Be Courageous!!!!
God Bless!

Wrecking Ball

By: Jessica Huber

IMG_4863

When we are willing to release the tools that God has given us, we give Him the thumbs up to renovate.
Forgiveness can be like a wrecking ball, if we use it. It has the ability to knock down the walls that are preventing His healing. Walls of pride, resentment, walls of disappointment, walls of hurt and pain.

Now I’m not saying the things we feel and hold onto are irrelevant, or that they are undeserving of validation. I am simply saying if we hold on to them, it prevents God’s movement within our lives.

Walls creep up and before we know it, we are closed off, we are no longer able to see past the separation.
At first it’s a self protection, we curl up and get comfy cozy. The next thing you know, it’s a little too cramped for comfort. Let’s face it, It’s miserable. The more we add to the wall the thicker it gets. Nothing comes in, nothing goes out.
Who are we kidding, this is no means for a protection plan! This wall is suppressing all room for growth, it’s suffocating, it’s stifling, it’s isolating!

It’s time to revamp!

So what powers the wrecking ball?
The power is In The Love of The Lord, Jesus Christ! It’s in The Love that He displays for us each and everyday! It’s in the example he set and in the teaching that we find in His word.

In order to even begin to demolish this wall, we need to give permission for God’s Love to intervene and override all the the bad experiences. Stop relying on self, God is your Defender and your Deliverer!
Walls are built by not releasing and letting go.
1 Corinthians 13:5 says Love keeps no record of wrong.
We make the choice to hold on and we make the choice to let go.
There is a time and a season for everything under the heavens, a time to build and a time to tear down!

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 gives such powerful description of Love. This is a reflection of the love that God desires for us to have for one another.
4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

It endures all things! I repeat that because enduring is usually associated with suffering through something, coping, tolerating, pushing through with out quitting, to endure is to be triumphant!
But it doesn’t always feel good, does it? To endure is to Love even when it hurts.

When we are willing to let go, we say Yes to God’s Blessings!
Don’t wait in the dark for someone else to begin this project.
Quit letting fear and sadness stand in the way of God’s plan for you.
Isaiah 58:8
Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
May God Bless you as you take the steps to release His Love! Tear down the walls of defeat and receive the healing that is waiting to break through.

Food For Thought

By: Jessica Huber

IMG_4859

Revelation 3:20
20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

What a personal offer. That’s How much He Loves us. That’s How much He wants to be Involved. When we dine with someone, it’s not just about scarfing some food down and then off we go. It’s about conversation, intimacy, time set aside.

There is nothing like a dining experience with The Lord. We consume His Love and He fills us with His Peace. He is sure to have more than enough joy, kindness, and faithfulness to take and share.

John 10:27
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

Make Sure you Can tell the deference between His voice and the voice of the world. Know Him.

Get acquainted!
Notice that He Knocks, He doesn’t force or intrude.

Often times we don’t even realize it, but we are dining  with the wrong house guest. Feeding off of The wrong source of food. We end up digesting it and the result can be many things, confusion, fear, doubt, anxiety depression, regret, shame, negativity. Think of these as symptoms of an allergic reaction.

KNOW what to look for!

If these are the symptoms you are experiencing while dining, then the food is spoiled. Test the food and the spirit. Match it with the Word of God. The enemy loves to try and trick us with distorted truth and Mimicry.
Our flesh has an appetite for particular ingredients and the enemy knows that, he is sure to build a menu that appeals.

In this case it’s ok to be a picky eater!

1 John 4:1
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Philippians 1:9-10
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ;

Who have you been dining with? Are you taking the leftovers and feeding it to your friends and family?
If you are, then you need to make sure it’s safe and healthy.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21

Do you need to medicate after eating?
Just a little food for thought.

How Amazing and Skillful are God’s Hands? How wonderful to know that we are in the safety of His loving hands?
Psalms 139:7 says
Where can I go from your Spirit?

Have you ever seen a farmer without calloused hands? Think of a mechanic, their hands are imprinted with stains. A True Workman has their trade embedded within every crevice.

The Creator knows, every inch of His masterpiece inside and out.

Isaiah 49:16
16See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me.

Have you ever written something on your hand?
Most likely, it was something important and you didn’t want to forget. You do it so
It would be right there in your sight..Right?

We are Imprinted On The Savior’s Hands!
His hands were marked so that ours may be clean. When He shouted, it is Finished, he meant it. His work was done and complete. His Hands bear the reminder, He does not forget and we should not forget.

Isaiah 53:5
But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.

He Is The Craftsman of Our Entire Being, working and shaping All Things for Good. We are not forgotten.
We are embedded, engraved, imprinted and Important!

Psalm 111:7
7 The works of his hands are faithful and just;
all his precepts are trustworthy.

Psalm 139:14
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Do you know that?
KNOW it Full and Well!! Believe It!

John 20:27
Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.”

Ephesians 3
14For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Mark 16:19
After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the RIGHT HAND OF GOD

Know that The Work of the Lord is Finished, Rest In His Hands Today.

God Bless

Blinded By The Light

But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble. Proverbs 4:19

When we have been in darkness for so long our eyes conform to it. When we are shown the light it can be a blinding experience. A normal reaction is to reject it, to put your hands up in defense and shy away from it. Even when the dark is a place full of failure, it’s familiar. It becomes a lair of half truth, creating a false sense of pleasure. It’s deceiving and while we are feeling our way around, we end up creating our own image of what the truth looks like. We truly do not know what makes us stumble. Until it’s exposed.

When we begin to step out of our past and allow God’s light to shine within our life, it’s not always the most comfortable experience. It’s not always easy to accept. We find that the coping mechanism we used while dwelling in the dark, are no longer useful in the Light.
When we have gotten comfortable with our half truths and believed them, they fight and try to hang on. They try to pull us back and talk us into justifying them. It is hard to come terms with our misunderstanding. It’s difficult to admit that what we once knew and previously followed, goes against the very Hand That Heals us.
Here is where the hope comes in,
Whether this is something you or a loved one is struggling through,
Hang In There! Don’t Give Up!

God is Light and In Him there is No darkness AT ALL!

Jesus Is The Way, The Truth and The Life
The Light Of Life!
He is the Alpha and the Omega!
When He Starts He Finishes!!!

John 1:5 says
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

When God’s word is revealed, we can either experience it as a RESCUE or a bust. That will take a little self check. If we are feeling defensive we can ask ourselves, why am I feeling offended to this exposure? No one likes to admit that they are wrong. So ask Him! Lord, what is making me cover my eyes? God help me to push any pride aside, drop my hands, help my heart to reflect your humbleness.

When Jesus revealed himself to Saul on the road to Damascus, he was blinded for 3 days. Goodness it’s no wonder, look at the darkness that Saul came from. Oh, but once the scales fell from His eyes, God used Him for Victory!

JESUS is All about the Saul to Paul Moment! He will bring this forth.

It may be bright and blinding at first but God’s light leaves no crack or crevice unturned. The dark doesn’t like the exposure so there Will be a bit of a battle.
The question is, how long will we fight?

Ephesians 5:13
But everything exposed by the light becomes visible–and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.

When His Light is shown His Love flows, it reaches the eyes of the heart. It shows Truth In A Way that only Christ Can.

John 1:12
2Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

He is the Light that shines in the world! His Light Transforms The Mind and The Heart! It literally Gives Life!
Open The Shades and let Him In!
Then Shine that Light on a friend!

God Bless!
